Ahhh it's 2am, my mind is running around in circles so here's my product/service for free to help with your SEO + organic traffic :)
We do like to make things hard for ourselves.
I used to build websites all the time growing up. Now I'm 26 and do you know how many I've built in the last 8 years?
Zero. None. Nada.
I don't know how many times now that I've fallen into this pattern of creating a process or coming up with an idea at work. My mind fantasising about how amazingly cool/successful it will be, working on it for a week, ending up overwhelmed for a variety of reasons, and then completely ditching it.
It's a beautiful cycle.
So here I am now, at 2am in the morning, sitting completely butt naked after having a shower. Writing this message whilst resisting the urge to delete it because it hasn't been properly planned, edited, etc etc to tell you this -
I'm pretty good at link-building.
I've spent the last 2.5 years analysing the structure of websites with 1M+ organic traffic and working out how they've built their authority through backlinks.
I've created a process for working out where you too can also get links, brand mentions etc for your fledgling SAAS product, tool, directory or whatever else you're building.
I want to turn this into a fancy-ass tool with a client backend etc but right now I'm settling for writing this post. No getting overwhelmed, just keeping it all super simple.
So, if you want advice on link-building for your site, comment below and I'll be sure to follow up with advice and actionable tips (guest post opportunities, resource creation ideas, outreach targets, and whatever else I can think of).
Hopefully, this post hasn't been a complete train wreck. I will now sleep.
After grinding on a product for the last 12 months with only 30-50 visits/day, I would very much like your input on how best I could build up organic traffic. The current traffic is returning visitors and clicks from YT descriptions of a few users who organically found out about the site and mentioned it in a video!

I have considered launching it on ProductHunt but am still not quite happy with the feature set and design.
In terms of link building and SEO.. it's an SPA. Though I would like to setup a basic, static blog on a subdomain or route and be done with it, I think I would gain more benefit if I made the application render without JS then progressively enhance. Any thoughts on this?
Good luck with your new venture! I have found the best ideas come months and months after working on difficult problems. That's why it is so important to stick to something for a while.
Thanks for replying! Currently out and about in London this evening but will put some thought into your site tomorrow and also run it through Ahrefs to see what opportunity there are.
Just off the top of my head, as the company I work for own a bunch of tech sites, there’s so many keywords (often with low ranking difficulty) around crypto + blockchain that could definitely help you pick up more visitors/users if blogged about. I’ll take a deeper dive though and report back what I see in the SERPS.

Damn, I feel you a lot, when a new idea comes into my mind it usually works in the same way, I go quickly into coding after finishing some mockups, and in the middle of the process I end up digging it.
Funny part, I’m a senior full stack developer with a total amount of 0 websites built entirely by myself.
Except this thing I managed to finish few days ago codedrifter.co, would love some SEO feedback / orientation about it if you have some time, and ping me if you want to try any of my starters for free (they help me a loot to kickoff my projects actually)
Don't be too hard on yourself :) Finding your path in life takes time and so does creating something. So your approach of not getting overwhelmed is on point.
One piece of advice regarding "giving up too early" is to do something small. Tiny, actually. For example, this blog post (thumbs up for that!). Think of them as weekend projects that don't take more than a day or two. Eventually, you'll train your resilience and get further every time.
