Sounds very cool. And could be a great opportunity for indie hackers.

weird idea, a bit useless. Google is the first search engine, not because it's "Google", but because the results are super relevant.
If you are using bing/yahoo/duckduck and co., you can see the difference. Google gives the best results.
So why people will use ahrefs if the results of user's search are not as good as google results.
And 99% of the people won't care about what is behind (that ahrefs will revshare to creators).
I guess there is a reason why apple is not going on this niche
The experience at this stage is subpar. Search is very hard. Let's see how this will evolve. BTW, check out You.com for another Google alternative. They're doing a great job.

It's awesome just the queries are not that straight to point
this is a great idea, this is going to help the creator economy. Tim Soulo (creator of ahrefs) said that the search engine is in the early early early early stage so don't except too much from the yes search engine.
Seems they got a huge publicity. Tried to do a simple search there but it took a while for the results to show. I think it will take a while for it to get any traction, though.
I had a similar experience. I searched multiple queries, but couldn’t get any results to show up.
I didn't see an anticipated release date in the article. Anyone know when it'll be available?
