As you may have noticed, AI is kind of changing our business landscape.
In one of the most notable of these changes, AI is transforming operations by reducing the need for human intervention in complex tasks.
But like with everything else about AI, it’s not always easy to separate bold claims from reality.
So today I’m bringing you a real story. Something tangible that clearly showcases the power of these changes we’re witnessing.
In a recent article from our AI expert Rui Vasconcelos, he delves into how Klarna, in collaboration with OpenAI, recently implemented autonomous agents across their customer support operation.
In just one month, their AI agents were able to engage in 2.3M conversations with customers, handling two-thirds of all customer service interactions, and leaving only the most complex cases for humans to resolve. Their agents performed the equivalent work of 700 full-time employees.
Pretty crazy.
But that’s not all.
Rui also dives into key concepts like LLM, RAG and multi-agent systems. Specific tools like AutoGen or LangGraph, and performance benchmarks and current limitations.
If you read just one thing about AI this week, this one might just do the trick for you.
