AI Document Extraction with Human-Level Accuracy-Docuct

90% of document extraction tools get you 90% of the way there.

That last 10%? It costs you hours of manual corrections, missed fields, and frustrated teams.

That's exactly why we built Docuct differently.

Most AI extraction tools treat documents as a "set it and forget it" problem. But anyone who's processed real-world invoices, contracts, or financial documents knows the truth:

AI alone isn't enough. Human judgment still matters.

Docuct combines Vision Language Models with a Human-in-the-Loop workflow that actually works for teams:

→ AI extracts with human-level accuracy using VLMs that see documents the way you do — understanding layout, context, and relationships between fields

→ Smart review queues surface only what needs human attention — so your team isn't reviewing every document, just the ones that matter

→ Advanced action items get auto-assigned based on confidence scores, document type, and team roles

→ Team workflows let reviewers approve, flag, correct, and route documents — all in one place

The result? You get the speed of AI with the accuracy of a human reviewer. Without the busywork.

We're not replacing your team. We're giving them superpowers.

'AI alone isn't enough. Human judgment still matters.' I like this part! That's on sport.

this is actually a really cool product! what kinds of documents does it do?

    1. 1

Thank you... Docuct works with documents like bank statements, contracts, W2 forms, resumes, healthcare receipts, invoices, and even handwritten notes.
Each document type has its own blueprint for extracting the relevant fields. We currently have 70+ predefined blueprints, and users can also create a custom blueprint for unique document formats....
Just give it a try----free version is available....lets us know if you face any issues---we will guide step by step to extract data from the documents..

Interesting space. Document extraction seems simple on the surface but gets complicated quickly with real-world data. What kinds of documents are you focusing on first?

    1. 1

Yes....We currently provide around 77 pre-built blueprints for common document types. And if a document has a different format, users can easily create their own blueprint to extract the fields they need.

      1. 1

That’s interesting. Having the pre-built blueprints probably makes onboarding much easier for people who aren’t technical. Do most users stick with the templates or end up creating their own fairly quickly?

        1. 1

It’s a mix actually. Many users start with the pre-built blueprints since they cover common document types. But when they have unique formats or specific fields to extract, they quickly create their own blueprint.

Love the human-in-the-loop approach… that last 10% is where most teams actually lose time.

AI + smart review workflows sounds like the practical way to solve it.

    1. 1

Yes, that last 10% is usually where most automation tools struggle. The idea is to let AI do the heavy work and then use human validation when needed to make sure the data is reliable..

  6. 1

If the accuracy is really close to human-level, this could be very powerful for automation.

    1. 1

Yes, that's the goal...AI can do most of the heavy lifting, and human validation helps ensure the final data is reliable enough for real workflows...

  7. 1

Yeah , I gave this a shot and I find it very cool and interesting

Thanks a lot for trying it out....We're glad you found it interesting. We're continuously improving the extraction and validation workflow, so feedback like this really helps us shape the product better.

The human-in-the-loop approach is the right call for document extraction. Pure AI solutions always hit that last-mile accuracy wall with edge cases. How are you handling template variability - do users need to train the model on new document types, or does it generalize well out of the box?

    1. 1

Great question....We combine AI-based extraction with a human-in-the-loop validation layer to handle edge cases and improve accuracy over time. For template variability, Docuct can generalize across different document layouts, and we also allow users to create custom blueprints for structured templates. This makes it easy to adapt extraction to new document formats without retraining models — users can simply define the fields they want to extract and reuse the blueprint.

Super interesting, and a real pain I have personally dealt with. From a founder's perspective, how do you feel libraries like LangExtract becoming open sourced might change they way you go about your product?

    1. 1

Interesting...Open-source tools like LangExtract can definitely help improve document extraction. With Docuct, our focus is on making the full workflow easier — extraction, human validation, editing, and exporting the data so teams can actually use it in their work.

Great to see how docuct is solving real-world document processing challenges. The human-in-the-loop approach is definitely the future of AI automation. Excited to see how this evolves!
