AI-focused Slack community for product managers/devs/designers. Will it make sense?

Many high-skilled people are making their AI tools in our community. @Jeannen (MakeLogoAI.com), @stealthyjoe (Stealthgpt.ai), @infomiho (socialpostgpt.xyz), @vincanger (CoverLetterGPT.xyz), @justindra (ruru.chat) and many more. I can see new AI projects coming every day.
Are there any Slack communities for AI-focused managers/devs/designers/...? If not - will it make sense to create our own? It would be cool to exchange ideas, look for co-founders and develop business plans in real time.

I'm not even close to being AI -focused developer, but why Slack and not Discord?
Slack would require to pay for members and to keep message history, even though slack emojis sell it..
Edit: but in general it would be great to get people together and think about how to improve people's lives together. For example, ruru.chat would help people calm down and figure out what's going on with their pet until they can visit the vet.
I've asked skilled entrepreneurs among my friends, and they mostly use Slack.
Discord is a fantastic platform for young companies, but I've noticed that mature businesses and professional communities hang out in Slack. Maybe that's because of the crypto/gaming vibe
I hadn't even thought about crypto on Discord, then it makes sense. But yes, what works for people is what they use
Yeah, that's what I noticed as well. Discord - crypto/gaming/dev, Slack - more corp/biz stuff. Although Slack quickly becomes pretty expensive as people mentioned above, that's the downside
It seems Slack is the new Skype, and Discord is the new Slack. God knows what Skype is these days...
Anyway, Slack vs Discord is a secondary thing. The main question -- do we need this kind of community
I would probably join it If I will ever create something and will look for people in AI world to learn more or get some help 😅
Yea, I personally used to like Slack better, but now having been part of a few discord groups, it's alright. They each have their pros and cons, but same same. Price is definitely a big one for communities as no one wants to pay per user.

I mean, why not? could be a way to brainstorm about ideas related to AI as well, and why not (being utopist here) event maybe start projects as small collectives.
Got a preference for Slack on my side, discord feels to messy / spammy, but probably bad experience with all these web3 discords though ahah.

A part of me would be down to have a place to chat about these, but at the same time, I'm already part of so many that I don't want to add another thing I have to check.
I think it would be better if you did it on discord as well. I notice it's much better in terms of the community aspect, whereas Slack is more team oriented

Already exists. Transferred Learnings is kinda like a book club but much more practical and only for real ML researchers/practitioners. You can signup at the bottom of this page but they vet your linkedin to make sure you're actually working in AI.
