AI is a 100x efficiency multiplier. But 100 x 0 is still ZERO.

Despite what you may have heard, AI still requires human input.

Human time, energy, and ideas go IN.

High-quality creative comes OUT.

In this case, LOTS of high-quality creative comes out. Orders of magnitude more than the previous paradigm.

But no matter how impressive the technology becomes...

You won't benefit from AI by virtue of the technology simply existing.

SOMEONE still has to pull the lever.

    This is very true.

I posted two blog posts today with 95% ChatGPT generated content.

The content is about ChatGPT plugins, so it was good content.

However, i still had to format the text.

    Make some corrections and additions.

    Find, edit and upload images.

    Write titles, meta tags, excerpts.

And then post, and promote the articles.

For the type of content I wrote, ChatGPT is great. I can probably write 10 posts a day like them if I really focus. Considering I have a full time job in addition to my blogs, ChatGPT is a god send.

    All hail ChatGPT!

Awesome, now get to work you slackers.

    Well said.
Looked at your profile tag. Do you have a favourite re-branding story ?
mine is reLondon by brandethos. Not related to them at all. Always looking for great examples of re-branding.

My main value-add re: branding is video storytelling specifically, so, I'm partial to those campaigns. Not sure it's considered a "re-brand," but the old BMW films come to mind.

Early 2000s, BMW made a series of short action films featuring their new lineup. Legit Hollywood filmmaking and an internet-only distribution. Mind you, this was PRE-youtube. I remember them being the most exciting videos on the internet at the time.

I don't consider the video a re-brand story from a UI/UX. Definitely valuable thou. Re-branding is complete package from A to B. This video could be one of the activites as part of a rebranding.

That said, definitely great concept as it is showcasing specialists in a field. Directors. So for me the drawcard is this. It is like a mentorship.

The video storytelling I am really liking and watching at the moment is climate related. EMF animation video story telling is a distinct mark above anything else I have found. (Living systems: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCRKvDyyHmI). Doco style video storey telling, low budget, DW Planet A is one of my favs.

Both when I have used with SMEs, has great traction. This medium is growing on me as impactful. Impacting in a way we want it to impact. Versus more noise.

        • If I could find a SaaS design video specialist with the EMF quality of vid, that would definitely be something.
        • I appreciate their are many SaaS design specialists. So far too general, and no UX evidence of their capability is being shown on LP.
        • Fm, individuals who truelly get the art of story telling, are some of the better UX practioners.

Yeah I think the BMW films were more just a cool campaign.

Lots of interesting things happening on Youtube doc style channels lately. Some are producing not just great content, but prolific output. The workflows are really tuned and firing on all cylinders.

Storytelling is psychological in nature, so it's a valuable skill across many fields. I'd say your instinct is correct.

I'm a little unclear as to what you're looking for, but I'd be happy to chat more about this over email if you like. My contact is on my profile page.

I think its not 100 x, IMO, but even if it just 2^x that becomes exponential later on... its not like simple-interest but compound-interest
