AI, landing pages, and $7,200 ARR

Using ChatGPT to generate $7,200 in ARR for Median

tl;dr

  • Use Google PPC to learn search terms
  • Dump terms into ChatGPT
  • Create landing pages in Webflow
  • Submit pages to Google Search Console

Sup hacker fam?
It's been a minute since I posted on here. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. haha. Been pretty heads down for the last 6 month.

For a little context, I bought Median off MicroAcquire in 2020 and have been grinding to grow it. To be totally honest, it's not growing hear as fast as I would like. So, last month...

I spent $4,500 on paid advertising to see what would happen

Here are the result...

After spending $3k on Google I thought... WTF!

Why not just try and rank for the terms I was paying for?

So I went into Google Ads manager and exported all the search terms that we paid to rank #1 for.

I then dropped those terms into AHREFs to see how hard it would be to ranks #1...

Turns out, it's NOT that hard!

Soooo...

I asked ChatGPT to write a 500 word landing page

I took the terms straight from the Google export and simply dumped them into ChatGPT and asked it to write a minimum 500 word explanation.

This worked like MAGIC!

One of the terms that stood out to me was Browser based screen sharing!

Now, in my head, it is obvous that Median and/or cobrowsing is exactly what that person was looking for when they typed that in...

BUT

The Google bots don't think like that, nor do that rank that. So....

I had ChatGPT write a brief explanation about what Browser based screen sharing is...

Then I dumped it into Webflow and personalized it.

Here is the result...
Browser based screen sharing - as explained by Spencer Scott

Is it super long? Nope!
Does it deliver value? I think so.
Will it rank? Yep!

I noticed that NONE of my competition was attempting to rank for this term. Some ranked via keyword cross over but there was no clear competitor targeting this term.

Likely, because it gets next to ZERO traffic.

BUT I feel the traffic that types that in has high intent.... I hope... haha

The trick to making all this work is...

You have to submit the pages to Google Search Console.

Google uses bots to rank sites. If your new page has no back links... Google will never find it.

If you submit it to be indexed... Google WILL find it...

For example, I wrote this article "Is co browsing safe?" submitted it, and it ranked #1 in 24 hours!

I continued to write the following pages using this method

In total I wrote 6 landing pages in 4 hours

Now you might be asking...

How will this strategy make $7,200 ARR?

I am confident this strategy will add a minimum $7,200 ARR to the Median Cobrowse bottom line as a result of winning 1 customer per month.

I can confident say we will win 1 customer because I paid $3k to see what would happen if we ranked #1 for these terms.

The results were 3 customers per month and 44 sign ups.

Currently, our minimum product is priced at $50 MRR or $600 ARR.
1 customer per month = 12 customers a year
12 customers a year (at the cheapest price point) = $600 MRR or $7,200 ARR

That's the strategy... I will keep yah posted on how it goes...
