AI-Powered Crypto Wallet With ChatGPT

Current crypto wallets suck. I’m talking about MetaMask, Phantom, Ronin, and the entire bunch.

Here’s why:

A couple of months ago I had to onboard one of my friends into crypto. He wanted to mint an NFT to play a game, so I guided him through buying crypto on Binance, transferring the tokens to a wallet, bridging, and importing his seed phrase into another wallet.

After the whole process, he looked at me and told me, this is why you crypto people are so weird, why the hell is this so complicated? And he was absolutely right.

Then I looked at myself and all the people who trade crypto - the process sucks.

  • I have 7 active wallets
  • I also use Telegram bots
  • I use multiple screens to look at charts
  • I use multiple dApps to trade
  • I use spreadsheets
  • I can’t see all my crypto in one place, nor how much money I have, nor my entry prices

There’s absolutely no reason why the UX should be this way, so I cofounded Armor Wallet.

Armor Wallet is an AI-powered crypto wallet. Think of it like ChatGPT + MetaMask + Unibot. You can talk to it with prompts, and it can go out and make complex trades for you.

The target people to use it are experienced crypto traders who can make complex trades and newbies who can navigate the Web3 space thanks to Armor - which can work as their AI assistant.

With Armor:

  • You can make complex trades easily
  • You can use a simple ChatGPT-like interface
  • Use a dApps marketplace (Uniswap, AAVE, signaling tools, and more)
  • You can simulate trades to avoid scams/ phishing
  • You can trade across 20+ blockchains
  • AI agents trade 24/7 so you don’t have to

We’re building Armor to have three AI Agents inside it. The AI Agents will be responsible for:

  • Protecting your portfolio
  • Trading
  • Research

Here are a couple of use cases/ prompts that can be executed:

“Take my 2ETH that are on Base and DCA into Solana over the next 20 days, only if the price doesn’t go up by 6%”

“Find all of the coins launched in the last 3 weeks that have the word “AI” in their name and put $100 into each only if they have a market cap between 50k and 300k

“Sell all of my crypto and turn me into stablecoins - NOW”

Armor takes a 1% trading fee while giving users an AI-powered Web3 wallet that will change the way we invest in crypto.

The wallet will be live in September, and anyone who’s interested in the project or wants to test it out, feel free to contact me on X or Telegram

It looks cool, and I even wanted to try it but didn't find where I could download it or at least how to log in. Then on the About page, I found this info but man I should have been searching for it. Maybe you should add that info to your start page and have something like "leave your email and we will notify you when you can try it". Good luck :)

You're absolutely right @sed_li, we'll make some changes during this week to make sure it's a bit more clear. The beta of the wallet will be live by October, but the email idea is great! Thank you so much!

You are addressing a real problem, as things with crypto are often hard to grasp, not just for newbies. But can you really trust AI to perform financial operations? What if, instead of selling your Ethereum tokens, it sells your Ethereum Classic tokens?

    1. 1

If you give an unclear command, the AI will ask you questions to clarify - so in this case, if there's a confusion between ethereum and ethereum classic, it will ask you which one. As for the trust part, you'll have 2FA confirmations and limits to ensure it operates in your given parameters

Agree, most of the current wallets have problems with user experience. That's why we (lead designers) are trying to improve UX in the web3 industry now, and reduce entry threshold

What are some of your ideas about solving that @vvardi? Would love to know some of your takes!

In most cases, we are limited to technical aspects (for now)
Providing quality onboarding and support is the best way to solve these problems.
Don't overcomplicate the design (but it depends on the project)

You're absolutely right! We agree on all the points!

Now this is a solid one 👏
