AI startup for the taking 🤖
Hey hackers, this is a piece of tech that started back in 2015. The idea was to dynamically generate a 3D tour of the property by analysing a 2D floorplan (image) and sell an API to large property advertising companies like Zillow.
Altho, there are much more we can do (scrap all floorplan online and generate 3D view of every possible property and sell data to whoever?)
The tech stack is using Mask R CNN (machine learning) and is not perfect, with lots of manual data collection and pre-processing. We use WebGL for the 3D frontend.
I now run another startup and raised money and have this one sitting here.
I am happy for someone to take the lead on it, this will require a good tech background, I'll be able to support code onboarding and anything from business model marketing & sales.
From a legal perspective, the company is established in the UK (London) and is a sleeping company fully managed by a contact of mine, happy to hand over or dismantle it and re-open it elsewhere, or do nothing and wait until MVP is ready.

This is actually really cool. I love it as is, but if this project was able to merge with a tool like Matterport and map the Matterport images to the walls, floor, and ceiling. Wow, that would be powerful
Definitely, I feel an API based business model would be even simpler and only focus on having near-perfect floorplan analysis and 3D creation.
