AI Startup - niche market
We are 9 months into a build on an AI product for a niche market and we are set to launch to our market in the next couple of weeks. We have negotiated exclusive access to a closed audience with around 30k potential, highly engaged clients and are working on a marketing strategy for this.
To say that his has been tough would be understatement. We have had to build this alongside other projects to keep the roof over our head but we made the decision a few months back to go fully into this to get it live and done.
Our market is very niche and we have a very targeted audience so am confident we can begin generating revenue in the next few weeks. Fingers crossed this does happen as our pre start savings are almost all gone

If you can, can you tell me how you found the idea and then how you went about looking for the target audience (it doesn't have to be exact, you can just tell the high-level stuff)
Of course. I've been in travel 25 years and the product is specific to this audience (travel trade professionals). I started using AI for our own business when it first came out and it streamlined our operation so knew it would work for others. I sold this tours company to concentrate on this as feel it has significant potential for the future. I'd say the industry I am in are very engaged in streamlining operations and I am fortunate to have built up a number of good contacts over the years, which have opened doors.
So, I guess, I stumbled across the opportunity within my own business and will be offering this to others in my space. I did alot of research before going down this route and I would say I would not have pursued had it not been the extensive level of experience and knowledge I have within marketing, travel industry and, most lately, AI.
