Dima Rubanov and Matthias Neumayer, friends since high school, turned their passion for tech into Oscar Stories.

Having bonded over coding and running an internet forum, they laid the groundwork for their journey into AI-powered products aimed at making learning and storytelling more engaging.

Oscar Stories allows children to star in their own bedtime tales, crafted by AI to suit each child’s imagination. Launched in March 2023 on Product Hunt, Oscar Stories quickly attracted over 500 signups on its first day, earning top spot and broad attention on the platform.

Oscar Stories has gained over 50,000 downloads, supported by App Store Optimization (ASO), media features, and live events. Currently, they boast more than 700 subscribers, with users accessing unlimited stories through flexible subscription options.
