Cool idea! One thing I’m curious about is how you handle API key security. Since users bring their own keys, they’ll want full clarity that nothing is logged or proxied. Maybe showing a quick technical note or open docs about how keys are handled could build more trust.

You’re absolutely right — API key security is super important, especially when users bring their own.
In AiZolo, all user API keys are AES-256-CBC encrypted before storage using a secure environment-based encryption key (
ENCRYPTION_KEY). The keys are never logged, never proxied, and only decrypted locally when needed to make a request.We’re also working on a short public note/docs page explaining exactly how this works — transparency matters a lot to us. 🚀
Good setup. One question though, are you rotating the encryption key or keeping a single static one across environments?

Right now we’re using a single environment-based encryption key per deployment (not rotating yet), but key rotation is definitely on our roadmap — especially as we scale up and introduce multi-tenant workspaces.
