Airbnb for food
With the world opening up I thought of an idea, a version of how airbnb works except that it's not for accommodation but for eating in people's homes in the places you visit or where you live. So the host would set a rate for the price/plate and a deposit is paid which is then used to buy groceries for the meal. The host can also put a full menu from which guests can choose from depending on the meal they will be interested in having(breakfast,lunch or dinner)Those who book can rate the meals etc. What do you guys think?
I worked on something like this concept. You can see the app at Eatyn.com. Our initial plan was to have users dine with the hosts. Turned out most hosts who have decent homes, don't want strangers coming to their houses. Without delivery, it's hard to work on this concept.
Sounds a bit like eatwith.com. The “experiences economy” was trending before the pandemic, and I can imagine that with things reopening, people will be even more eager to do this type of thing.

What about legal concerns? I think you often need licenses to cook for other people commercially, at least in Germany.
There can be a workaround I.e. a person will be paying for the experience...not necessarily the food
I honestly don't think that'll hold up in court. That said, I'd make sure to check with a lawyer asap.
