🤔 What is AirBooks
AirBooks let's you stream your audiobooks anywhere you are.
Most audiobook apps (Audible, Apple Books, etc) force you to have the books on your phone, taking away precious space you could use to record moments with your friends and family.
AirBooks aims to bridge that gap.
⚙️ How it works
- You upload an audiobook file to Airbooks.
- We split it into chapters and give you back a link.
- You plug that into your favorite podcast app (Apple Podcasts, Overcast, PocketCasts, etc) and start streaming!
Nothing ever gets stored on your phone.

Who is the ideal target audience for this service?
Also, wondering if it would make sense to remove "max 300 mb". I wonder how often an audiobook is above that amount (I'm assuming not often?), and if it would make sense to just bake that into the price instead to simplify the messaging. You could still apply some limit at upload-time to prevent abuse.
Trying to work out the message a bit better, but the audience would be folks purchasing audiobooks from multiple vendors and having a single way to access all of them.
Later on my idea is to have my own app, where you can play your audiobooks, pause, and keep playing from another device. Sort of like Spotify does it.
I like the idea of removing the max 300mb limit. But if it's not in the pricing details, how would you communicate there's a limit?
I've been thinking about the pricing though. The people I've reached out to thought it a bit expensive. I've been thinking of maybe allowing 1 book upload for free as a trial. And then $1/mo per book uploaded (not charged if you delete the book) or $10/mo for unlimited uploads.
