All-in-One Platform to promote with NO budget. Roast the idea.

In the era of AI and vibe coding, marketing has become the most important and complicated thing. It takes much time, and it is super expensive to market.

I recently checked Google Ads for my project and was amazed at the price — nearly $15 for a click for a pretty much not-so-popular keyword.

Because of that, I found the idea of building a promotion platform to promote without a budget (or almost) a pretty good one.

What do I want?

  1. Promo module to grow visibility and backlinks by submitting and posting your product to many directories, communities, profiles, review websites, etc.

  2. Chrome extension to easily generate marketing materials in one click on any website, because doing it manually takes time. It should also be able to fill any forms on any websites.

  3. Cold emails and lead management. I need a simple but powerful lead and cold email management tool to find the first 100 clients or more.

  4. Social posting tool. I need to automate as much as possible posting to many different social platforms. Posting 3–4 times a day to 10 platforms is not easy.

  5. Knowledge base. I need a place to store all information about my project to generate marketing materials in one click.

Also, I need gamification because for me, marketing is boring, so I want it to motivate me to do more marketing every day. And I want it to be cheap, with a lifetime deal, so I don't spend much money — because I don’t have a budget. Right?

Right now, I’ve completed 60% of the platform, and it is live already: https://hypedesk.io

What do you think about the idea?

Like other people said, your platform also needs marketing first. It's so competitive.

Agree, Anything needs marketing. Right now I use HypeDesk to promote HypeDesk :-)

This is a genuinely smart approach, especially for indie founders and solo devs who can't afford traditional marketing. The promo module plus automated content tools really hit on the pain points most of us face. I love the idea of making marketing feel less like a chore and more like part of the creative process.

Once you're further along, it might also be worth looking into more structured SEO strategies, things like keyword clustering, site architecture, and backlink planning. You can get SEO services from Fortress, an SEO agency that focuses on high-competition markets like medical and legal, but some of their playbook ideas could definitely be useful for scaling your visibility long-term. Just something to think about as HypeDesk grows.

Thank you! I am looking for new tools to add to HypeDesk to extend it value. Always open for new ideas!

Hey, thanks for sharing this! I’m basically doing all of that solo right now: hunting for free platforms to post on, tracking everything myself in Google Sheets, analyzing and automating what I can, and trying to keep myself motivated. It’s definitely super hard work...

So it’s really impressive to see you taking these struggles and turning them into a professional, usable tool for others. I have a side job in data analytics and automation, so I totally get how challenging it is to build something like this.

I haven’t checked out Hypedesk yet but I’m definitely planning to soon, as I think it could be a big help for my own niche marketing plan. Appreciate you putting this out there!

Thank you! I am really happy HypeDesk helps so many indie devs promote and grow backlinks without burning lot of money in the process.

Even this tool needs marketing. Welldone it's a good first step.

If you need more opinions, I'll suggest go to X and LinkedIn, you should be flooded with folks who want to test it out in no time.

I agree. I use HypeDesk to promote HypeDesk with no budget right now. I am already on X and BlueSky, will create linkedin page soon as well. Thank you for the idea.

Really like the vision behind Hypedesk. Marketing is time-consuming and pricey, so tools that automate outreach, posting, and content creation without a big budget feel super useful for indie founders.

Can you check it out why is giving me the error "Failed to generate information: Network error" when trying to add my domain, as I'm just trying to create my first project.

    Thanks!

Hi. Can you please write me a message with the project URL you are trying to add: [email protected]

Interesting approach! It’s definitely an ambitious project, and it’ll be exciting to see how it evolves as you continue to develop it. All the best!

Very cool idea. As long as you nail the execution it seems like it can really take off. Ironically the marketing tool will market itself really (that being said idk anything about marketing lol).

Yeah, I think the same. Thank you!

This is truly needed — it has the potential to ease the mental stress that many business owners and influencers face daily.

    1. 1

Yes, it is the exact goal. I always have a headache after doing marketing for couple hours :-)

  10. 2

I love that you’re making marketing tools feel more accessible and even fun (gamification is an awesome idea). The promo module + form filler combo sounds like a huge time saver as well…. especially for solo founders who have to wear every hat.

Thank you! Trying to make the best platform to market with no budget.

This quiet interesting because I am more of a technical person who is finding it hard marketing. Will surely make use of it when I ship.

That's actually a really great idea when it comes to marketing. Most of the time, I find myself getting bored or burnt out from constantly posting content and researching subreddits. It becomes repetitive and drains the motivation over time. But using creative strategies like this not only breaks the monotony but also adds an element of excitement and engagement. It’s a refreshing way to approach marketing, and it can really help keep both creators and audiences interested. Plus, it motivates people—myself included—to think outside the box and try new methods, which can lead to better results and more sustainable growth in the long run.

Thank you! Glad you like the idea.

Interesting concept. I like the idea of helping creators promote on a zero budget. One concern: How will you attract high-quality promoters without financial incentives? Maybe gamifying engagement or adding tier-related exposure would help.

    1. 1

HypeDesk does't provide creators. It provides a platform and tools you can use to promote your startup and find clients like submission management system, cold emails and leads management, social posting module, etc..

  14. 2

That's a really good idea to do marketing as most of the time i also get board of posting content and researching subreddit this is really good way to motivate people for marketing

    1. 1

Yes, same for me. As a technical person, I love building, but I easily get bored with marketing.

  15. 2

Love this reminder! It's so easy to get caught up chasing approval instead of actual outcomes. Thanks for sharing the behind-the-scenes. It's super motivating to focus on impact, not just applause.

  16. 1

good and useful platform, will try asap.

Thank you and hope it will help to promote your project.
