"Alternate" Marketing Channels

I know a lot of people use the PH, Reddit and Hackernews marketing channels for their products.

Wondering if anyone is playing around with IG Reels, YT Shorts and TikTok(faceful channels) to market somewhat technical products. This is for organic audience building. What are the pitfalls and benefits of these platforms.
