For the last 10 years, every graphic project I made was with Adobe products
- Photoshop for photo editing
- Illustrator for logo
- XD for User Interface design
and the list goes one.
Does anyone knows some value alternative to creative cloud? I'm switching especially because of their price.
Photoshop and Illustrator are my main apps but both combined together is like $40 monthly and I don't want to get all the Creative Cloud.
Already try Affinity Photo & Designer...
XD is free so you can stick with that or use countless other free popular UI/UX tools (Figma, Invision, etc.). In addition to other comments, have you considered PS Elements?
Are you using CC library fonts and/or creating libraries for your graphics? You may have to stick with CC.
Yeah! I used XD all the time to design landing pages and other stuffs.
I'm considering to use PS Elements too. My main problem is Illustrator... I'm addicted to it.
No no, I'm not using any CC library.
Figma or Sketch app are good alternatives and much cheaper
What did you not like about Affinity Photo & Designer? I've been thinking about switching from Abode to Affinity.
As someone coming from PS & Ai, I think they are lack of features (maybe it just me). Otherwise I try the 7 days trial and I was only able to use some layers to edit image.
Thanks. I hope you find something that works for you. I use PS and AI infrequently (usually once a month or so) which is why I find the subscription pricing frustrating and so I am checking out Affinity products. If I used PS/AI every day, I wouldn't have a problem with the pricing.
