Alternative to TailwindUI?

Hey IH, I designed this landing page and app UI below and am converting it to HTML + TailwindCSS (split up into reusable components).

Is this useful to the Tailwind community? What other sorts of UI components would you like to see?

I don't get your title seems misleading.

I learned alot from reading the tailwind ui code, more examples are always better.

Haha I just re-read the post and then looked at the title again because I was also confused. I thought I accidentally clicked another post.

I am using Tailwind UI, but that's a good idea and cool stuff you made!
I think that would definitely be interesting for people who use tailwindcss.

There is already very much marketing stuff in TailwindUI, but there is definitely a lack of complex web pages like complex dashboards, web application, maybe specialized components which are interesting for some people, like social media stuff, web chat components, project management components, whatever (Things that let a webdevs heart beat up).

My final conclusion is, that there is definitely a potential for more specialized components, but because TailwindUI covered nearly all the basic stuff I would not recommend doing that too.

    Cheers, Gabriel

Gabriel– thank you for your reply. Super valuable input. It's so easy to lose sight of the benefits of 'niching down'. My shortlist of specialized components would be:

      • Project management components (calendar, kanban, Gantt layouts, etc)
      • Ecommerce components
      • Messaging components

Am I missing any other prominent niche UI areas?

I think you covered the most.
However, if you have a stunning idea for some other specialized components, don't hesitate to put them in.
I am looking forward to your product.

May I ask what you want to use for javascript stuff in the components?
Do you use Alpinejs like TailwindUI?

I definitely love TailWind CSS and UI and we've switched to it for our new apps.

There are always more components that could be added and we'd pay for them.
