Today I published the latest edition of my newsletter and got publicly shamed on twitter by an artist with 7000 followers :(
I emailed this out to 224 subscribers with an image I plucked from google images (I gave credit to the illustrator).
I made the HUGE mistake of tagging him on twitter as being featured in the newsletter.
Here's the response I got:
'Hi if you're going to use my artwork for your publication without asking permission and paying a fee I will have to ask you to remove it or I can send you an invoice'
Lesson learned!
Hope you can learn from experience. Said newsletter edition minus the image of course https://productivitypro.substack.com/p/the-pro-letter-8
The joys of Building (learning) in public.
Thanks,
