🚀 AMAZEA is live: Can you build a fashion brand with €0 in ad spend? Let's find out.

Hey Indie Hackers,

After months of planning, building, and tweaking, I’ve officially launched AMAZEA — a summer clothing brand that’s 100% ambassador-driven. No ads. Just real people, real products, and organic momentum.

What is AMAZEA?
🌴 A summer fashion brand built for people who live life on their own terms
🤝 Affiliate-first growth (powered by UpPromote)
🇬🇧 UK-registered, focused on the European & United States market

What I’ve done so far:

  • 🛠️ Shopify store live with full affiliate system

  • 📦 First 20 products launched (more coming this week)

  • 📣 Reaching out to affiliates via DMs + Notion landing page

Why this approach?
I’m testing whether it’s possible to grow a real brand from scratch using nothing but creativity, community, and the affiliate model — no paid ads, no viral tricks, just consistent, transparent building.

Goals for August:
✅ Recruit 50 affiliates
✅ Land the first 10 sales
✅ Collect as much feedback as possible from early users

If you’ve ever thought about building an ambassador-led brand — or you’re just curious if this kind of growth is still possible in 2025 — I’m sharing the whole journey.

    Love the no-ads approach..

I also like the ad-free model, but I would like to ask, how can these beautiful summer clothes attract people's attention without advertising?

  3. 1

Do you reach out to influencers? Like, would you consider those affiliates?

Really like this experiment, especially testing growth without ad spend from day one. The market’s so saturated with “throw money at ads” strategies that it’s refreshing to see someone double down on community and affiliates instead.

Curious how you’re finding and vetting affiliates, and how you’re planning to keep them engaged once they join. Also interested to see what works for you in driving those first 10 sales. Subscribed to follow along.

This is super inspiring 🔥. Love the no-ads approach — raw and community-powered.

Curious: how are you filtering for quality affiliates vs random signups?

Great question — we currently qualify affiliates manually by checking their social profiles after sign-up. We look for active engagement, niche alignment, and good energy overall. Since we're community-powered, we prefer 50 passionate ambassadors over 500 random signups.

Also worth mentioning: people can’t just randomly join our Discord. Every request is manually approved to keep out spam and protect the community vibe. 🔒

We’re exploring ways to streamline the vetting process, but quality will always come first. Appreciate the support! 😊
