Amazon bans words like "Union" and "pay raise" on employee chat app

I don't feel strongly on this topic. But I'll weigh in anyway, I think it's tough that people need to deal with Amazon's work conditions, but if I had to choose being a receptionist or delivering pizzas I'd prefer Amazon. Doesn't seem like a terrible gig compared to others that don't require any education.
I guess it's not a glamorous job, but they are paying $20 an hour which is pretty solid, and benefits too. So the people there are getting a good deal, I think at least.
Internal chat apps at large corporations are weird. At least at Amazon, they don't let these workers use their cell phones, and instead ask them to use their chat app. I can only imagine the data they are able to collect from this app i.e you now know everything about your employees behavior, how often they are taking a break, and who they are talking to.
If I was forced to use this app, I'd just change the word slightly to still get my points across. Unon and pyr*ise.
I'm not one of those people who thinks that Amazon is spitting on their workers, but they generally seem disconnected.
