An API and a file upload/manipulation service like filestack

Hi guys!
I have had this idea on my mind that indie hackers would love to build their app/website with some sort of file upload and management system which helps them concentrate on only their core app logic. Would love to know if any of my fellow indie hackers have faced problems with writing their own file upload and management systems and would maybe be open to paying for a managed service for the same! Looking forward to what the community thinks! :)
