An app to index and collect blog posts?

I am in the process of starting a new app but I need to look for users who have the same problem as me.

We all like blog posts, right? I am thinking of making an app which you can use to manage and consolidate your blogs that you follow in one place. So, if you follow 5 to 10 blogs and read their content weekly or monthly, my app could notify you when they post something new and they could be all displayed in one place. You would still be redirected to the original blog site to read it, but we index the blog post and let you know when something new gets posted.

It could also turn into the front page for blogs - so if users kept entering the URL of multiple blogs, there could be a discover page of all the blogs that users follow, allowing them to get more exposure.

Is this a problem that other people have, and would you even use such a product to help you keep track on blog sites you follow? Please, if you have any questions or ideas, I'd love to know.
