an embeddable log viewer

Hey Indie Hackers

I’ve been working on a side project that solves a pain I’ve felt too many times as a developer: jumping between Stripe dashboard, AWS CloudWatch, Google Cloud, and Sentry just to debug one issue.

So I built an embeddable log viewer: a React component you can drop into your own frontend or internal dev tools.

What it does

  • Fetches logs from multiple sources (starting with Stripe, AWS CloudWatch, Sentry)

  • Streams them in real-time via WebSockets

  • Unified search + filtering (by service, error level, keywords)

  • Dark-mode friendly UI, made with React + Vite

Instead of opening 4 dashboards, you just run your app locally, open your own admin panel (or dev UI), and see all logs in one place.

🛠 Example use case

  • Stripe webhook fails → AWS Lambda throws an error → Sentry reports exception.
Instead of clicking through 3 dashboards, the viewer shows the whole chain in your frontend.

Who it’s for

  • SaaS developers

  • Indie hackers

  • Teams that want debugging visibility without setting up Datadog / ELK stack

My goal

This is an MVP — I’d love feedback from other builders:

  • Would you use this while developing your app?

  • Which log source integrations would you want next?

  • Do you prefer this as a React package you embed, or a hosted dashboard you log into?

Demo

Feedback welcome

I’d love to hear your thoughts — especially if you’ve struggled with debugging across multiple services.
If anyone here wants to try it out, I’m happy to onboard early beta users. 🙌
