An independent social media “story” builder tool
Hey folks,
I have a blog that I use while traveling. I post pictures and videos with basic html.
I’d like to be able to create a “story” for my blog, basically a slideshow of images and videos, where each slide has a time limit and a caption.
AFAIK, if I wanted to create a story like this I’d have to use instagram, snapchat, or facebook to do it.
So I was thinking about building an independent tool that accomplishes the same idea. After you create your story you can embed it as an iframe on your blog and the story would unfold effortlessly.
What does the IH community think? Would this be a waste of time to build or might it be worth the effort?
That would be nice. Instead of GIFs continuously playing this one should stop automatically
Yeah it wouldn't continuously play, there could simply be a replay button.
I like the idea and I think the product has legs even outside of just blogging. It could be something that displays that familiar story interface but in any location - web app, blog or more!
Right, that would be the idea. Still mulling it over.
