Twas the 21st of December, when I worried in my head
My customer who ordered $125 in t-shirt gifts wanted me dead
I had ruined the Christmas celebration for the entire family
They needed that package by the 22nd they explained angrily
They had ordered quite promptly on December 2nd
Their order was submitted to the printing company within seconds
My customer checked back once or twice to about their delivery
I assured them the ship date was looking good according to its history
All shirts were printed except one, but the order sat and it sat,
I checked back a few times, but then I forgat
Now the order had shipped but it was getting close
They needed it by 11am for family photos
I woke up this morning to a lovely surprise
A delivery notification from USPS so I could no longer agonize
The StateOfShirts.com order was delivered in the nick of time
So for some reason I decided to write down this rhyme
I emailed my customer as I logged off at last light
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night
A knack for writing,
A knack for building you have.
A t-shirt Id like to order,
With your autograph.
For your journey is quite interesting,
Even with customer woes.
Pretty soon I know,
You’ll be rolling in the dough.
You will have the last laugh,
You’ll hire on staff.
An investor will swoop in,
And try to take half.
But heed my word,
They’ll rip apart your jig.
Just remember us,
When you make it big.
This is awesome! Thanks! 😂
Customer replied today:
Hahahahahahaha....HILLARIOUS!
You definitely won our business with your personal poem and your efforts to get the package to us. Santa was definitely working overtime:)
Nothing ruined at all and I'm sooooooo appreciative Jesse!
Have your self a safe and happy New Year!
