Android Developer Needed

We’re looking for an Android developer to initially help finish creating an app that handles features such as job submission, timesheet management, job status tracking, and so on. Later, we will aim to create a partner app to this first app. All interactions are facilitated by an existing set of REST endpoints on a Python backend hosted on GCP.

Both Android and backend architectures emphasise clean code and testability.

Skills required:
Good understanding of Android SDK
Kotlin with working knowledge of coroutines
Good experience with debugging in Android Studio
Good experience putting together layouts with shared components and minimal duplication
Working knowledge of DaggerAndroid
Experience with MVVM, SOLID principles, and understanding of Clean Architecture and its motivations
Room persistence for local caching
Retrofit and understanding of REST endpoints
Experience with unit testing (mockk, espresso, etc)
Knowledge of backend engineering (Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL) and DevOps (GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm) is a plus but not a strict requirement
