    This directly relates to my experience as a web developer. Every single redesign I've ever launched, for any client or employer, was followed by an absolute wave of vitriol from users, including numerous threats to never come back.

    Every single redesign I've ever launched, for any client or employer, suffered from no major traffic drop-off and in the vast majority of cases, the traffic continued to grow, usually at an improved rate.

    Weather the storm of angry feedback and watch your numbers. It's the latter that's telling the real story.
