I worked with Angular in the past and trust me it was one of the painful experiences I had. Till date I feel like I wasted my time since I am a self taught developer. Never tried Vue, but love React so far.

Well, I think even negative experiences can bring some benefit. If you are a beginner, sometimes it is difficult to choose what to learn. From my experience, Vue.js is beginner-friendly compared to React. There is a good comparison between Vue and React hope you'll find it useful.

Honestly, I prefer vue more than react, even thought at the job I work with react.
Personal projects are done in vue

I kinda understand your choice, great framework with a lot of applications. But I think it also has some disadvantages, like the absence of strict standardization, lack of sufficient support, and resource limitations. It doesn't make this framework bad, but for someone, they could be crucial.
