Any advantages of using gumroad besides stripe as payment service for SaaS?

I'm at the stage of integrating payment gateways to www.podium.build and was wondering if there're any advantages to launching on Gumroad despite having a stripe payment gateway?
I know Gumroad takes care of sales tax etc, but do they also do any other stuff? Like promoting on their platform?

I use Gumroad for their license key issuing feature and the license key validation API, I find them super useful when developing small apps that does not require an authentication system, browser extension for example.
Hi @hilee, you can also use ExtensionPay for taking payments in browser extensions. I like it because it doesn't require users to deal with license keys.
I created BudgetSheet ( https://www.budgetsheet.net ), and I ultimately chose Gumroad for one reason: License Keys. I needed a way to lock down Pro features behind a flag without having to build a whole service for it, and the automatic License Key issuance feature along with the verification API for it was just the ticket I needed to charge money inside my Google Sheets Add-on without a ton of extra work.
