Any advice for my Startup?

https://socialburst.co

Hi. I'm Matt. I spent the last two months creating and building a on-demand marketing service for startups.

I've had some good results during test runs but on launch, not so much. I would like some advice from anything like retention or landing page advice.

Much Love!

    Hey Matt!

The page looks awesome! I'm just not exactly sure what you are selling based off the copy. I see the word 'marketing' a lot - I would suggest to play up some of the reasons WHY start-ups would need your service.

    Your customers have a problem.

    You solve it.

Why do they need your service?

    What headache are you fixing?

Empathy and validation to what they are going through, but have no fear Socialburst is here!

From the hero - we should know exactly what you sell, and why I need it!

Take a look at ClearBrand's website - awesome example!!

    I hope this helps!!

    Hey Matt,

Thanks for sharing your website. Considering you're company is very new and you sell a high ticket service, I think it will be difficult to close customers from your landing page alone.

I would change your landing page's funnel objective from closing the sale (i.e directing them to Stripe) to have it focus on getting you demo/intro calls with potential customers (i.e your Calendly).

There is only one button I could find that brought me to your Calendly, and it was only present at the top of the page.

If you want to be a bit more selective with who you jump on a call with, you could funnel them towards giving their business email (not a @gmail, etc) and schedule a call with them from there.

Once you've built up more of a reputation, some testimonials, and case studies, you could try your current method again.

This method will depend on your having decent sales skills to close customers.

Let me know what you think,
    Justin

Thank you for your response; I really appreciate it. I already knew I wouldn't sell solely on the landing page; that would be unwise. Changing the funnel objective could be a good idea. Two ideas I have are implementing Calendly, as you suggested, or offering a subscription to my newsletter with a freebie as an incentive.

I'll do some a/b testing to see what works. Thanks for your response.

Honestly, you're landing page looks fricking sick! I'm by no means an expert but there was one thing. Your CTA "Get started" for your plans has a very similar background color so the buttons don't stand out. True say I was looking for them but couldn't even see them. You don't have a visual cue in your hero section, you could probably get a free one from blush designs - this is just a preference though. Also, when you say "I've had some good results during test", what do you mean by that?

I did a initial launch in June which had good sales. My goal was to test the on-demand backend I built. Thank you for your kind words! Much appreciate it.
