Anyone have experience/advice on exhibiting at an industry conference?
There's an in-person conference happening in my industry in August and I'm considering it. We're on the fence about sponsoring a small booth. Mainly not sure how much work is involved, etc...so would love some tips!
Alternatively, we can probably do the hallway track thing, but thinking it'd be better to be a more active participant?
Some context is:
I used to help organize events in a previous job and although booth strategy is important, one thing sponsors usually miss is getting to know the organizers who can make some intros to participants. Some organizers might take initiative but in many cases, it may not happen.
For example, someone in charge of attendees/accommodation may not have a deep bond with participants but will know their background/had already had a few conversations with them to introduce you. Being a sponsor is a good excuse to hang around early with them.
Good point...I like that idea!
