Any developers interested in becoming an IndieHacker with me?

Hey everyone,

I just posted the other day about my independent consulting service. Still working through the feedback, but very appreciative of the help so far!

I'm subscribed to a lot of mailing lists for early stage companies and it has been brought to my attention that one of those SaaS companies is up for sale. The founder either recently had his second child or had twins and can't devote enough time to building the business anymore.

To temper expectations, the product is in a saturated niche (time tracking, invoicing, project management, etc.) but demand is obviously there. I think that with the right positioning and some marketing hustle you could carve out a nice side business, possibly more.

I'm a sales/marketing/business development guy who would need a technical partner. The back end is python, flask, and MongoDB while the front end is react and redux, if that helps.

Initially, I'm looking for someone to help me vet the quality of the code and test the functionality. Basically, have a smart conversation with the current founder to validate the technical aspects of the product.

Going forward, I would hope to be 50/50 partners and grow the business to replace 50-100% of my current full-time income. I'm not interested in starting the next Facebook, so I need to find someone that is okay with bootstrapping this or taking friends and family/crowdfunding money at most.

Lots of vetting to be done and the product could sell in the meantime, but I'm here via comment/PM to respond to any questions.
