Something like https://www.pokernow.club.
I'm thinking of building a mahjong (4-player board game popular in Asia) web app, but unsure about the monetizing methods. I think I can garner users quite easily.
What did you build and how was your experience like?
Happy to hear from you. Cheers.
I can't speak for other hackers, but I have worked for a startup that developed a gambling app. It was an exciting experience, but the market was becoming too saturated, so I shifted my focus to creating a website that evaluates gambling platforms for reliability. I rely on https://gamblebeaver.com/fast-payout-casinos/ for this purpose, as I have used the casinos it reviews for quite some time. They provide useful information on fast payout casinos, an essential factor for online gamblers. I hope that my story helps you. Good luck.
Hi, Poker Now creator here. It will probably be a long journey if you go alone, but if you do a great job, you will have a public and then possibilities to monetize your app, altough I highly recommend you offer your app for free at the first moment to gain traction more quickly. :)
Hey @samuelsimoes! Big fan of your app. I play poker with my friends using it occasionally.
How's your patreon and buy me a coffee doing? Do you have other monetizing plans?
Nice to hear that you are using it, I am happy to hear this.
About the donations, it is good so far, they already help to cover the costs of running the app.
But I am always counting on the possibility of the donations drop considerably in the future since it peaked a lot because of the COVID, but the situation looks to be improving in a lot of places.
About other plans to monetize, I have, but at this moment I 100% focusing on offering the best poker experience possible to create a loyal base of players.
