Any hackers in Taiwan or Asia?

I just joined IH a couple of days ago. I made a video speed dating app called StepUp with my friend. I am currently also exploring a few other ideas since coronavirus is changing the way we live.
Is there any hackers here in Taiwan? Or in Asia? It seems like the majority of people here are in North America or Europe. If you would like to connect, please let me know where you are located and what you are working on. Thanks!

Just saying hi :). Also, my parents are from Miaoli :). Grandparents currently in Xindian. I miss going to my favorite restaurant (Dao Xiao Mian, Yong Kang Jie). I'd go there every time I'd travel for work.

I am from Hong Kong. There are very few indie hackers here. It makes me feel lonely all the time. Most local developers just take contract works to make a living. I hope I can make a change here. My target is $2,500 USD mrr this year.

I'm in Taiwan and did the tweeting for the recent Startup Grind Taipei.
IH definitely feels like it's got a mild anti-Asia slant. When I finally posted a "milestone" a while back, it was marked as "yesterday" just three hours after I posted it. I pinged Courtland and never got any reply.
I don't think it's anything malicious but the internet, especially the SV-funded internet, is still pretty US and especially California-focused. As a result of many, many small choices, it stays a self-reinforcing bubble. IH is a lot better than PH in its early days, though! They didn't even used to let normal people outside their social graph comment!

Well, that is why we are here to change the one sided internet right? :D I see pretty high potential in Taiwan in terms of startup ecosystem. I think many companies and projects here have gone under the radar/underrated just like the country itself. But all the signs are pointing towards a good direction coming out of the current situation.

Yes do drop a note if you're ever in the area after the covid situation clears up! I'm happy to connect. The startup scene is growing here, but it's a mixture of young tech startups vs traditional Thai corporations.
We've been working remotely for more than a month now. Schools are still closed and same with malls (aside from supermarkets, banks, and pharmacies). This week it's starting to loosen up, but there is still a night-time curfew. The government also canceled our new years "Songkran" a few weeks back where people are usually off for a week-long holiday. That sucks but understandable since they don't want people traveling during the pandemic.
Prioritize took me a few days to build. I just used bits of code here and there to piece this simple tool together. Making it wasn't too exciting, but launching it on product hunt was.
