Any Instagram specialists here?

Not really a specialist in Instagram, but I do specialize in social media.

I can confirm there are a lot of people interested in that type of service, but you should thread carefully.

There are a few things to be careful of:
a) Instagram frequently pursues companies like this as many of these tools act against their policies
b) Because of that users grow incredibly careful when it comes to using these tools, especially because they can have their account banned very quickly.

I've built various tools using the Instagram API over the past 8 years. I can tell you that even 8 years ago, they had ways of identifying people using the unofficial API and with the resources from FB they have even more means to do so today. So any business built on the unofficial or private API would be short-lived.

I have some experiences with Instagram API, and I did try to make bots too. I am afraid that you joined the game way too late. Instagram is using various forms of verification to ban automated behaviors in their community including IP address consistency and apparently AI checks to spot bots. I wouldn't go into this space right now. It would take a tremendous amount of effort to build even an MVP. That being said, it is not impossible, just very difficult.
