Any newish opinions on supabase for B2B?

Long time user of AWS serverless (huge fan of step functions, eventbridge, etc). Still, have had a terrible run of a few days trying to mate the CDK (backend) to amplify (front end) + next.js. Went this route since building with appsync thru amplify alone is terribly slow and error-prone.

Would really appreciate fresh perspectives on supabase which has been discussed the last few years here. TIA.
