Any recommendations for adding a chat bot to my product page?

https://critimon.boardiesitsolutions.com

Hi IH,

I'm looking at adding a chat bot (I think that's what they're called) that's usually shown in the bottom right corner to allow prospective users/customers to ask any questions before they sign up to my crash reporting service at https://critimon.boardiesitsolutions.com as I've read these can work quite well to drive more signups than having to rely on emails.

Does anyone have any recommendations that they use and if so are they as useful as I've read?

Follow @sethlouey! He created botlist and the website is full of great examples of chat bots. He also gives out good tips on twitter for what makes good chatbots great. You can see an example here: https://twitter.com/sethlouey/status/1133780289967337474

Thanks for the shout out. Definitely check out BotList.co for some chatbots.

Bots that are on websites help with FAQs, support, and engagement. They are also really great at seeing where people lose traction with your product. i.e. Questions about your product help show where there is confusion.

I highly suggest using ManyChat because you can pull in user data from Facebook.

Since we already pay for HubSpot (a single seat license $50/mo), a nice looking chatbot comes for free with it. I'd say it works perfectly for our landing page (https://onebar.io), people do click on it and start discussions. They all come to our Slack and we can reply in threads - that's pretty dope.

We're also trying to reuse the same chat for customer support inside the app, and that's where I'd wish it's been a bit more configurable. Basically, they have a separate support bot, but they'd charge way more than $50/mo for it.

The most popular one is intercom.com, but it doesn't have a free tier so I'd recommend https://www.drift.com/

Hello Chris, I've spent a week to find a great chat widget (I think that's what they're called). My main request was to use Telegram for messaging with the customer. I can highly recommend https://replain.cc/, we use it in all our products (SLAO & Ambar). They free plan are very generous. Also you can take a look at Drift. Hope it helps!
