Any success with influencer campaigns?

Hey fellow indie hackers,

getting straight to the point because I know your time is valuable:

1. Has anyone here run successful influencer campaigns for their SaaS before?
2. What was your experience in terms of reach and actual performance?
3. What KPIs did you monitor?

My name is Sebastian and I have been working with a mid to large mobile tech SaaS, having quite a bit of success running multiple growth & performance campaigns.
With over 100% new subscription growth in a year, currently at around $100k+ MRR.
However Influencer Marketing seems quite different compared to most performance & growth strategies.

We did try manual outreach directly to youtube influencers via their contact info but it takes a lot of time and you often get a typically overpriced media kit sent - if they reply at all.

4. Has anyone had good results with using influencer platforms like TRIBE, Intellifluence (AppSumo offer currently running), Upfluence, etc. to outreach?

Also, major shoutout to EasyBloggers.io. I've tried 10+ influencer analytics tools and for youtube it is free and surprisingly accurate.

I'd really appreciate some insights into your experiences.
