Any suggestions on how to organise my marketing?
As many fellow indiehackers marketing ain’t my cup of tea. But I know it is necessary.
Until now my „marketing“ strategy is posting, blogging, tweeting,… whenever something crosses my mind.
Lately I have been asking my self if I may should try a more organised approach.
Any suggestions on how to organise my marketing?
Hey! there are 3 things I take into account when launching a new marketing effort.
Content > what I am going to talk about. For me, there are 3 main pillars you have to develop:
a) your Product, what it does, how it works, what problem it solves
b) Validation - what other people are sayng about it, companies you work with, rattings, reviews, etc
c) Other things your audience is interested in.
Funnel > what is the user/buyer journey like, what are the steps they take. Based on that, what information should they get to be able to advance to the next step.
Distribution > Where is your audience and what channels are available to get your message to them. Where in the user funnel are they when you talk to them through that channel.
Once you work out these things, you can start testing things out and see what resonates the most. Good luck!
