Any tips to keep in mind as I update a year-old Udemy course?

I'm going to be updating a course I created a year ago and will be refreshing some videos and adding a couple more lectures.

Might take some of the reviews students have left and highlight them in the updated description, for instance.

Wondering if there is anything else I'm not thinking of that would be a good idea. Do you all have any ideas or thoughts?

Here's the course in case you're interested: https://www.udemy.com/course/zapier-automation-course/

I'm not exactly sure what a “launch” is for you. Whether you have an email list etc ...
But every time Wes Bos updates a course he “relaunches” it.

Twitter + Email List are his main launch channels.

Perhaps adding to the title “Rerecorded for 2020 with all the latest practices ...” also

+1 yeah that makes sense. Just consider it a new launch.

Might be useful to reach out to some buyers/users if you can and gather more detailed experience. I have a few courses on career development, and I was under impression longer lessons with more content was better. Feedback was shorter lessons for easier consumption during commutes was better even if it doubled the overall length of the course.

Oh that’s interesting. Yeah will do. Thank you!
