Any tips to prevent a product hunt flop?
I just launched my product on PH although already worried that it is going to go nowhere. Are there any rookie mistakes I should have avoided, or is it just luck whether you get picked up on the homepage early on? https://www.producthunt.com/posts/holfolio
It's good to have users already on your platform so you can have them back you up on your launch.
Secondly, your post is a little confusing when I get there. The first image I see is a graph, of what? The second picture is then of a piggy bank, again, doesn't really show your product. And the third picture makes a little more sense, but again, still not entirely showcasing your product.
Only until I get to the description do I now begin to realize what your product is about.
But in the end, many of the factors that go into being on the homepage are mostly out of your control.
