Any WaaS-businesses there using Laravel? Trying Statamic as a WaaS

Hi, after having some success with Wordpress MS as a Website-as-a-service platform with paying clients, I am looking for a more robust framework (Laravel) to develop a better WaaS-platform.

A few weeks ago I tested the CMS Statamic for the first time, and immediately fell in love. But they only support multi domain, not multi tenants....

Then I spent a couple of hours connecting Tenancyforlaravel with Statamic, and now I have a working prototype for a WaaS-setup in Laravel, where each tenant/domain can have their own Statamic dashboard with separate blueprints, entries and templates. With just files, no DB. One single Laravel installation. And by using the Tenancyforlaravel's SaaS boilerplate the registration and domain mapping would already be taken care of.

My idea here is that this WaaS-setup could be flexible enough to handle both less- and high-demanding clients (which was my main headache with WP multi site):

The tenants who asks for customisation more than the standard templates can do, can keep the same entries, we can add a few more fields to a custom blueprint and we can disconnect them from the central templates create tailor made templates for them.

So it's basically a WaaS-platform for MOST types kind of websites - Not just simple/basic sites.

Have anyone here tried to create a WaaS with Statamic?
Or a WaaS with Laravel in general?
Does this seem like a good setup, from a technical perspective?
