Anyone building a todo list?

I use Trello for project management but for years have used Wunderlist for random/personal stuff but they are shutting down in 2 weeks.

I'm not too keen on their successor – Microsoft Todo – and would prefer to use an indie product if possible.

I just want a very simple todo list, with beautiful UI that syncs on OSX/iOS.

Anyone working on anything, or recommend one?

I love Todoist myself. I split it up into "personal" and then respective "projects".

I like Todoist for my tasks. I think it is fine.

Would love to have you try out Taskable - we are building a to do list that aggregates all your existing tasks, files and communications across workplace/personal apps. Trello integration isn't live yet, but high up on the priority list. Let me know if you want to check it out and we can get you set up 👍

I'm curious, why not use Trello for personal stuff too?

I have a product that takes a different approach on tasks : https://www.reschedule.app
One of the ideas behind this is that your calendar is a good place for your tasks to live since they represent demands on your time. That way you can manage them together with you other demand on your time - meetings.

I find Trello on mobile is a bit clunky.

    Hey @kylegawley 👋,

You should check out Amazing Marvin. It's an indie product I've been using recently. It is super flexible and works well across Mac / iOS:

    Definitely check out TeuxDeux.

I've used it for the last 8 years. It's super simple. It's the closest thing to pen and paper.

Hey, you could try out what I've built for fun.

It's a web based application, but could be installed on any device as a "native-like" application, coz it's a PWA.

It's automatically sync between your devices if you are online (you can use it offline too).

It has a zen mode, so you can add your todos into a "today's todo list" & focus on them one-by-one.

    And some other features...

    I actually switched from Wunderlist > Todoist > notion.so
So far notion has been amazing and the best solution I've seen.

It's way broader than your average todo list.

I do like Notion but it's too complicated for what I need, I just want something uber-simple.

Summit is launching something similar next week.

Our current landing page is focused on team productivity, so you won't find info there, but I'm happy to show you what's coming. Can I follow up over email?
