Anyone else have a podcast?

I think 2019 is going to be the year of podcasting 😂 Just the other day my random-banter podcast hit a few new milestones, and somehow generated a lot of interest.

There's definitely a lot I've learned, but I think the main thing is: Anyone can do it. A few of the people I've spoken to, who consume podcasts but don't produce them, seem to think it requires an elaborate setup at an expensive studio to get good quality work done - and it really doesn't.

If you're able to have an interesting conversation over Skype and record it, you're 80% of your way to podcasting.

Yes! I've recently started podcasting!

I'm optimizing for convenience, so they're short and it's just me—no interviews. Here's what I've learned so far:

• It's way easier to get subscribers than on YouTube
• It's much easier to produce audio content than video
• Audio quality issues stick out way more than on screencasts
• Pinecast.com is great
• You can update podcasts anytime
• Some of my small, existing twitter following is excited to learn more about my back story (though that's no the focus of the podcast)
