Anyone Ever Buy a .CM?
Wondering if anyone has purchased a .cm for their company if either they can't get the .com or if they'd like to protect against mistypers of their .com site.
Finding it hard to find out where to buy a .cm and I found out that most .cm are purchased and used to hijack misspelling of .com So might not even be worth it to use the .cm tld.
I've purchased a couple of .cm domains, and one of them was for my last name. The biggest issue that I've had is telling people the domain name or email address, and they instantly think you mean .com, or they mistype the name by a habit of typing [domain].com
So in some cases, you will have to explain that it's .cm and not .com, YMMV.
