https://microangel.so/ does an incredible job at describing his buying, operating and selling of micro-SaaS. Does anyone know others? Or where to learn?
While I love building / creating products indie hacker-style I also have a background in tech M&A and strategy consulting and the idea of buying these businesses, growing them, then potentially selling them, is very appealing.
Unfortunately, it seems like it's quite a niche area and there are not many people out there (it appears) to learn from.
Is there anyone out there who may know people who do it? Courses? Education? etc.
Thank!
Thanks for sharing <3 :)

It's worth checking https://www.microacquisitions.com/ by @ryanckulp if you haven't already. I'd also say make sure to follow relevant folks in the MicroAcquisition space on Twitter.
Having background in leverage acquisition finance, banking tech and structured finance, I'm currently working on the acquisition financing solution specifically for MicroSaaS segment, let me know if you might be interested - I'll be happy to help.
This is something I've been super interested in for awhile as well. I went as far as getting approved for some hefty small-business loans on specific micro/medium-sized saas companies.
Those fell through for the same reasons I haven't pulled the trigger on anything else - fear.
I'm just too-tentative that I'm buying a lemon that's MRR is going to immediately crash once I take ownership. I'm also pretty particular about only looking at these acquisitions that align with either a strong interest of mine or the tech-stack that I use (so I know I can have an impact on it) - and preferably check both those boxes.
But I too am interested in learning more, and particularly about how to hedge risk when purchasing.
if not a secret which provider did you use to get small-business loans on specific micro/medium-sized saas companies approved ? Was it SBA lender ?
