Anyone here find Google Analytics confusing?

If so do you just percevere, use a tool on top of GA (if so which one) or use an alternative? (If so which one?)

Many entrepreneurs avoid GA because of the learning curve and customizability. But it's free!

I used to feel the same, but once you get yourself on track by reading materials and taking the official academy. GA is not that difficult.

If you're looking for swift tools, I would recommend Supermetrics - consolidate data sources into spreadsheet format. @thatandyrose

Well, it's definitely got tons and tons of features that I don't use.
Something simpler would be nice, but as mentioned in other comments "It's Free"

I'm building a simple alternative to Google Analytics because it's way too complex for my needs. Check it out: https://plausible.io/

Google Analytics can definitely be confusing and it has it's limitations - but it's also free and comes with a lot of features. Splunk can give you better raw data if you know how to comb through it. If you have the budget, tools like Localytics are amazing.
