Anyone here read philosophy?

I read philosophy from time to time, I find it helpful as a founder and just as a person. Surely, I'm not the only one.

Looks like a year ago someone else tried to gauge interest in the formation of a Philosophy group. Since IH has grown, has interest in Philosophy grown? Drop a comment, who are your go to sources of wisdom? Would you join a group?

I'll start: my go to is the Enchiridion of Epictetus.

    Hi, Ross,
That's a fun question. I've recently started up a philosophy newsletter/community. Epictetus is fascinating, and among the Stoics I also really like Seneca. I've also got a soft spot for the Epicureans, particularly Lucretius. Some of my other go-to sources would be in Chinese philosophy: Mencius (Mengzi), Zhuangzi (or Chuang Tzu) and others. And for philosophical advice on writing, Liu Xie, author of "The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons", which is an amazing book. :)

I've just signed up for your newsletter, this is cool! I've not read any of the Epicureans and it's been a long time since I've read any Chinese philosophy, those would be good places for me to expand my knowledge.

Thanks! I hope you enjoy it!
