Hola amigos. I have some free time on my hands and was thinking it would be fun to do a solicited redesign of someone's UI. Good practice for me and (hopefully) helpful for someone here.
Here's what I'm thinking:
If you're interested just comment here and if I'll pick someone randomly.
Hi Shane,
Thanks for offering to help - genuinely appreciate it
Could you take a look at my post linked below?
Would love any feedback on the wire-frame design (a few hours of me just dumping the general UI idea I had for the platform my team and I are building)
Thanks!

Any feedback for my web app would be helpful! https://tranzlate.io
Hey Shane - how about our interface for JumpOn?
If you go here and join a meeting you'll see the bit I mean - https://jumpon.io/np3h-8pck-yqf2
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Always looking for feedback on Thumblytics.com
My readings page needs some UI improvement.

Https://Buildfaster.netlify.app - thanks 😄👍
I was looking to hire someone for this. Would really appreciate your help! You can signup for free here: https://newclick.io
If you’re up for it you can start with the “calendar” page of the app which would be: https://app.newclick.io/
Hey @AlexDaro - trying to sign up with Google but getting redirected to a localhost URL. Figured I'd let you know but I'll try with email now.
OMG thank you! I literally just pushed my dev config 🤦♂️ Fixed. Please try again.
Haha I figured! Glad I could help. Everything seems to be good now :)
Hey Alex, video just finished uploading: https://youtu.be/VKEvyGSkxYo
Hope this helps!
Hey @AlexDaro I guess I can help you too. Can we talk?
I had just posted this: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/help-me-pick-one-1fda65d6b3
Could really use some help!
Would love to help. Any chance you can share a sketch/figma file with this screen? Would just speed up the process :)
Thank you Shane, sorry but we don't have a Figma file for it. We had one initially and keep modifying directly on the code, so it won't help much.
Forgot to mention we are just about to push a new update, best will be to get the design mid day tomorrow.
Hey Estaban, just finished recording the video :) Here's the before and after:
Before

After

The video may take a while to upload because of slow wifi but I'll post the link here as soon as it's ready!
Some nice ideas! thank you!
Hey Esteban, here's the video that I think is much more valuable than just the before/after: https://youtu.be/qAaOvuxrUTU
Recommend watching on 2x speed because it's almost an hour long 😂
Thank you again Shane, we really appreciate the time you took to work on this. We updated the design with a few of the ideas. https://i.ibb.co/tqd3h4G/image.png
The changes are very subtle but I think you will see them. A few more changes coming.
We want to keep the images on the first column, as they make it easy to find projects you are working on, the image is a very helpful hint. Will post back again once we finish changing the code!
Thank you so much Shane! If you ever want to give our software a try we will make your account free for lifetime!
I'm glad it was helpful! For the images, I think you definitely know what works better. Without context I have to make some assumptions that will often be wrong.
That's super generous of you and I appreciate the offer! Definitely let me know when it's live I'd love to try it out :)
@steban it won't let me reply to your comment for some reason so writing it here. I think it could work but it really depends on the logos. If some logos don't work well with that concept it's going to be hard to have a consistent UX. Do you think the logos are absolutely necessary?
If so, a solution that might work would be to make the logos a bit smaller but align them to the left of the project name. Then move the timestamp in-between the other text elements in a way that works best (maybe bottom, maybe next to the subtext, maybe below the subtext and above the task description) to make room for longer project/company names.
Hi Shane, I keep working on the UI, this is how things look now:

I have this idea of moving the logo of each project as a sort of background/waternark image under the project name. I wanted to get your opinion if this is a good idea and some advice on how to do it. Maybe it should go to the right as it will be more visible under the date. Hope you dont mind! Thank you again.
https://versoly.com/ always looking for feedback especially UI :)
Which page / screen do you think would be most helpful to look at?
Page editor that is where most of the users spend their time.
It is pretty pack so you could focus on one part :)
Uploading the video now :) Should be up within the next couple of hours.
Hey @volkandkaya here's the video: https://youtu.be/zcPjnqu7PFQ
Hopefully it's helpful!
Great stuff, will implement most of them changes.
Glad it was helpful. Let me know if there's anything I could clear up for you in there.
Hello There,
If you're a designer then you know that finding the right resources can be hard. You might get the impression that there are 21,000+ design resources out there but it doesn't always turn out to be true. So, where do designers find great design resources? I have managed to find some really great design resources using this site called www.uihut.com which is a platform dedicated to web and graphic designers that helps them by giving them access to tons of free material that they can then use in their designs
Hi Shane, I'm opening a new thread here. I got a great idea on how to do it right from your reply, I will post once it is ready! Thank you again!
Glad I could help!
Hi! Yesss!!
See here the my "state-of-the-art": https://metatext.io
Holã. My name is Amy, I'm 34 from Seattle. I'm in a desperation for UI help for a mobile application platform. I not a designer. Nor a developer. Well, maybe just new to the industry. I was thrown in to this position and have exhausted practically every newbie mistake out there. The idea is spectacular. The niche market is prime. The product is necessary and long overdue, and the content is voluminous and exclusive. The company relies on myself alone, as they are a generation older and practically miss out on the importance and differences in digital vs. Theor norm, which is traveling around nationally and teaching live custom designed workshops to classes of adults who swear by their expertise. They are 2 people, booked out till next august.
I dont know what I'm doing and theres alot riding on this. The application needed would contain several calculator type solutions that would solve extraordinary industry specific issues and empower the business owners aswell as save them thousands of dollars.
Please email me if you can help or just want to take a quick look at the website I created and the several attempts we have tried to make collectively with myself as the only IT, which i dont work in whatsoever. 😘 I'm literally stumped and my heart goes out to the founders
Hey, happy to take a look and see what I can do to at least point you in the right direction! How can I reach you?
Hey there again. Another update! I've realized the before/after isn't all that valuable without the commentary.
Unfortunately my very slow wifi is only going to let me upload 1 video every ~3 hours (and slow me down during that time). So I'm going to try and publish 2 of these per day until I get through them.
Wow okay well I had planned to just do 1 redesign but I can't pick 😅
So instead, I'm going to do 1/2 redesign 1/2 design audit type thing via video. Each one will be ~30 mins, maybe up to an hour depending on how it's going. I'll hop in and out of sketch / figma and talk you through what I'm thinking as I go. I'll post a link to the video as a reply to your comment here when I'm done.
Basically going to go until I burn out for the day and might pick up some more tomorrow :)
